The Google doodle today (9/21/18) celebrates Mister Rogers. I always liked Mister Rogers when I was a kid, but most kids my age didn't like him very much. In fact, I can remember times I was made fun of (in first and second grade) when I mentioned watching Mister Rogers Neighborhood after school. He might be cool now, but trust me, Mister Rogers was definitely not cool when I was in 1st and 2nd grade (and he was on tv then).
A blog of the great "TV", an international man of mystery and distinguished gentleman. Adventures in education, useless trivia, spiritual observations, the life of a struggling actor, and rants on movies and books are just a minute sampling of the day-to-day experiences in the life of TV. Come, read about it, and enjoy the ride.

The Google Doodle for today, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 honors the first drive-in which opened in the United States on June 6, 1933 in Pennsauken, New Jersey by Richard M. Hollingshead, Jr. I love drive-ins and still attend one during the summer in Litchfield, IL. Here's to the resurgence of the drive-ins!

The Addams' Family Gets a Google Doodle.
I didn't know this, but today is Charles Addams' birthday. For those who don't know, Addams was the creator of The Addams Family. In the land of television, I'm a Munsters guy. However, I really enjoy The Addams Family comics. In honor of the late artist's birthday, Google has given him a doodle today (Saturday, January 7, 2012).
